Eurorack module that serves as the interface for the UDO RBN-1 performance ribbon controller. It lets modular users play the ribbon with a live looper, adjustable ribbon behaviour and two independent CV/gate outputs.

RBN-1-C is a 6HP Eurorack module built to work only with the UDO RBN-1 ribbon controller. It takes the ribbon's touch input and turns it into control voltages and gates for a modular system.
The module has two output sections, so two touches on the ribbon can produce two separate CV and gate pairs at once. This allows two-handed playing, such as pitch on one hand and filter cutoff on the other. Behaviour controls adjust touch response and octave scaling to suit a given setup or playing style.
A built-in looper records ribbon gestures and plays them back. An optional trigger input starts loop playback so that loops can be kept in time with other gear. CV outputs follow 1V/octave scaling, and the gate and trigger connections use 0/5V logic on 3.5mm jacks. The RBN-1 ribbon itself attaches to any metal surface with magnets and a non-slip base.
