The CUBE-40GX is a 40-watt combo built around a custom 10-inch speaker. It has three independent channels: JC CLEAN, LEAD with ten selectable COSM amp types, and a programmable SOLO channel that stores an amp type together with EQ and effects settings. A three-band EQ and a built-in chromatic/manual tuner are included.
Effects are split into three separate sections: EFX with five effect types, DELAY with two types and a tap button for setting the time, and REVERB with spring and plate options. Channel switching and effect on/off control can be handled by the optional GA-FC foot controller, or by BOSS footswitches for channel switching.
The i-CUBE LINK jack connects to the audio jack of an iOS device with the supplied cable, passing audio both ways, and can also serve as a stereo aux input. The RECORDING OUT/PHONES jack mutes the speaker and sends speaker-modelled sound to headphones, an audio interface or a mixer. The free CUBE JAM iOS app handles backing-track playback and recording, with export to 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV.
