The Oxygen 49 (MKV) is a 49-key USB MIDI controller built for software-based production and performance. It combines full-size velocity-sensitive keys with two banks of eight velocity-sensitive pads, eight assignable knobs, nine assignable faders, transport buttons, pitch and modulation wheels and a display that shows parameter feedback.
Playing aids include Note Repeat on the pads (momentary or latch), an arpeggiator with Type, Octave, Gate and Swing controls, Smart Chord, which plays a full chord from one key and has a custom mode, and Smart Scale, which restricts the keys to a chosen scale from over 15 variations.
Preset and DAW buttons auto-map the transport, faders, pan, record arm, solo, mute and select controls to most major DAWs, including Ableton, Pro Tools, MPC Beats, Cubase, Logic and Studio One. It connects over USB, with a 1/4" sustain pedal input. The bundle includes Ableton Live Lite, MPC Beats, Hybrid 3, Mini Grand, MPC Beats expansion packs, a MIDI editor, and Melodics and Skoove learning software.
