The R5 is a wireless in-ear headphone set built around a neckband. The band is made from genuine stitched leather with treated edges and has a minimal shape, so it can rest directly against the neck or be tucked beneath a shirt collar. The materials are intended to age with use rather than wear out.
Audio is streamed over Bluetooth with support for the aptX and AAC codecs for high-definition playback. An integrated microphone with cVc noise handling is included for calls, along with a vibration alert that signals an incoming call. Battery life is rated at 8 hours.
The earphones are fitted with patented Comfort Oval-Ear Tips, shaped to sit comfortably in the ear. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning.
