Ci100.2QR

The Ci100.2QR is a small flush-mount speaker designed to sit in walls and ceilings and visually match recessed downlights. It uses a 75 mm (3 in.) Uni-Q driver with a 16 mm aluminium dome tweeter and tangerine waveguide, giving wide dispersion from a very small cut-out.

The ultra-thin bezel and magnetic grille keep the front profile discreet, and both the grille and bezel can be painted to suit the surroundings. Construction is weather resistant and certified IP64. A removable rear can is included in the design: fitting it extends the low-frequency response, from 90 Hz to 130 Hz at the lower limit being the difference between the without-can and with-can figures, and it increases the mounting depth and weight.

The speaker has a 4 ohm nominal impedance and is intended to be driven by an amplifier rated 10 to 50 W. It needs a 118 mm x 118 mm cut-out and 52 mm of mounting depth without the back can, or 103 mm with it. It is wired to an external amplifier rather than offering any built-in connectivity.
