Kuvaus
This Les Paul Standard 50s variant keeps the core Les Paul build: a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, and a set mahogany neck with a rounded 50s Vintage profile and a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays. It differs from the regular 50s Standard in two ways: uncovered pickups with Double Classic White bobbins, and a Vintage Tobacco Burst finish that is slightly faded compared with the standard gloss colours.
The Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) humbuckers are handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop with Alnico 2 magnets. Wiring is hand-done with audio taper pots and Orange Drop capacitors, with two volume and two tone controls and a 3-way toggle. Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons and gold Top Hat knobs.
The guitar connects through a single 1/4" output jack and ships in a Gibson hardshell case with an accessory kit. Production is limited to 500 guitars per colour, and each burst is hand-sprayed, so the pattern differs between instruments.
