Kuvaus
The Player II Mustang Bass PJ is a right-handed, short-scale electric bass with a 30-inch (762 mm) scale. It has an alder body with a gloss polyester finish and a maple neck in a Modern "C" shape, with a satin urethane back for easy hand movement. The fingerboard is offered in maple or slab rosewood, with a 9.5-inch radius, rolled edges and 19 medium jumbo frets.
The electronics combine a Player Series Alnico 5 split-coil Precision Bass pickup in the middle position with an Alnico 5 single-coil Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge. A 3-position toggle selects the bridge pickup, both pickups together, or the middle pickup, and controls are a master volume and a master tone.
Hardware includes a 4-saddle bridge with single-groove steel saddles, mounted with a vintage-style 5-screw layout, open-gear tuning machines, a synthetic bone nut and a single-action, head-adjust truss rod. It is a passive instrument with no outputs or power requirements beyond a standard instrument cable. It ships with Fender USA 7250M nickel-plated steel strings (.045-.105) fitted, plus saddle height, hex and truss rod wrenches.
