The Neo Mistress is a mono digital flanger pedal in the Electro-Harmonix range, modelled on the classic Mistress. It produces a swept flanging effect whose speed is set with the Rate knob, while the Feedback knob sets how much of the processed signal is returned to the input, changing the colour or resonance of the effect.
A filter matrix mode stops the sweep so the flanger setting can be adjusted manually and held in place. A footswitch toggles between bypass and effect, with a status LED lighting when the effect is engaged. Bypass is true bypass.
The pedal has a quarter-inch input jack and a quarter-inch amp output jack. It runs on an included 9V battery, or on an optional 9.6VDC 200mA power adapter that is sold separately, and draws 30mA. It was released in 2011.
