The Cathedral is a stereo reverb pedal built around 24-bit AD and DA converters and true stereo inputs and outputs. It offers eight reverb styles: Grail Spring, Accu Spring, Hall, Room, Plate, Reverse, Grail Flerb and Echo. Settings can be programmed, and presets can be saved and loaded, so favourite sounds are easy to recall.
A tap tempo control sets the pre-delay section, and holding the tap switch produces an infinite reverb tail. Each reverb mode has its own damping/tone control, which allows the brightness of the reverb tail to be shaped separately for each style.
The pedal is a small enclosure measuring 4.75 x 5.75 x 2.5 inches (W x L x H) and is used between a stereo or mono source and an amp or mixer through its stereo in and out. An owner's manual is available for download. The maker discontinued the model in 2020, so it is mainly found on the used market.
