The SE200 is a portable digital audio player from Astell&Kern's A&futura line, built around three DAC chips (one AKM and two ESS) with balanced and unbalanced outputs. It suits listeners who want a high-resolution player with selectable DAC filters and Roon Ready support.

The SE200 is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth digital audio player with a 5-inch touchscreen and an octa-core processor. It combines one AKM AK4499EQ and two ESS ES9068AS DAC chips, each with its own amplifier section, so the user can pick the DAC that suits the music. Each DAC offers selectable digital filters, six for the AKM and three for the ESS, for adjusting the character of the sound.
Playback covers PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD up to DSD256, with MQA support and a wide range of file formats. The body is aluminium with ceramic top and rear covers, and a split volume wheel contains an LED that can show the bit depth of the playing track and the active DAC. The LED can be turned off in settings.
Headphones connect through two 3.5mm unbalanced and two 2.5mm balanced outputs. A USB Type-C port serves charging and use as a USB input for a computer, and storage is 256GB built in plus a microSD slot. Wireless options are 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX HD. Firmware updates are delivered over the air.
