Pit Viper
Pit Viper (V2) is a 12HP Eurorack module that combines an overdrive/distortion circuit with a 6 dB state-variable filter. It suits modular users who want a gain stage with lowpass, bandpass and highpass outputs, plus resonance and FM control.
- Overdrive circuit with more gain than earlier version
- 6 dB state-variable filter from the Bonesaw module
- Separate lowpass, bandpass and highpass outputs
- Individual volume knob for each filter output
- Resonant midpoint sweep plus FM knob
- 12HP wide, 22 mm deep

Pit Viper (V2) is a Eurorack redesign of the maker's Pit Viper distortion pedal circuit. It keeps the original distortion character but adds more gain and more tonal control than the earlier version.
The distortion output feeds a 6 dB state-variable filter taken from the maker's Bonesaw module. Lowpass, bandpass and highpass each have a separate output with its own volume knob, so they can be used on their own or blended together. The midpoint can be swept and made resonant, and an FM knob adds further filter modulation for a more aggressive sound.
The module is 12HP wide and 22 mm deep. It runs from the Eurorack power bus and draws 44 mA from +12V and 43 mA from -12V. A manual is available for download, and the module is listed on ModularGrid.
