Baron Samedi II Eurorack

Baron Samedi II is a Eurorack development of the maker's Baron Samedi fuzz pedal, built to distort and mangle incoming audio far beyond simple overdrive. It can chirp, shriek, growl and break sounds apart, with the chaotic behaviour placed under control voltage.

The fuzz can self-oscillate, and that oscillation is CV-controllable, so the module can produce anything from deep basslines to harsh, shrieking tones without an external source. Despite the unpredictable character, settings are described as highly repeatable, so a sound is not lost when a knob is turned.

Routing is flexible: separate dry and wet-only outputs let it sit in a parallel or mixed signal path. It occupies 12HP at 22mm depth and draws 30mA from +12V and 24mA from -12V. A manual is available for download and the module can be added to a ModularGrid rack.
