Kuvaus
Rubix44 is a desktop USB audio interface with four inputs and four outputs, converting at up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Each input has a combo connector with a low-noise mic preamp, and inputs 1 and 3 add a Hi-Z mode for guitar, bass and other high-impedance sources. Line-level gear such as keyboards and drum machines can be connected to the same jacks.
Analog compressor/limiters cover inputs 1/2 and 3/4 and are adjusted from the panel, with no added latency. Front-panel knobs set output and headphone levels, and two Direct Monitor controls provide latency-free monitoring without a software mixer. Signal and clip indicators can be seen from both the front and the top of the unit, and ground lift switches help reduce noise in different venues.
The unit connects to a computer over Hi-Speed USB (Type B) using class-compliant drivers, and works with Mac, Windows and iPad. It also has MIDI In and Out ports, four 1/4-inch TRS outputs, a headphone output and an external power supply. The metal chassis is compact, and six months of Roland Cloud Pro membership is included.
