JD-XA
The JD-XA is a 49-key synthesizer that pairs a four-part analog engine with a four-part, 64-voice digital engine. The two can be played separately, layered, or combined, so it suits sound designers, studio users and live players.

The analog engine has four parts, each with two oscillators, a filter, an amp, four envelopes and two LFOs. Filters are analog (LPF, HPF, BPF) and the oscillator section offers cross mod, ring mod and sync, with a separate dry output for the raw analog signal. The digital engine uses SuperNATURAL synthesis with four parts and 64 voices, and is compatible with INTEGRA-7 sounds. Digital parts can be routed through the analog filters or used as modulation sources.
Effects include an MFX for each part (67 types), two TFX processors (29 types), reverb, delay and master EQ. A 16-track pattern sequencer has 8 tracks for internal parts and 8 for external sources, with real-time and step recording. A mic input supports vocoder tones and voice-controlled modulation, with its own reverb.
The keyboard is velocity-sensitive with channel aftertouch. For connections it has USB audio/MIDI, MIDI in and out, a USB memory port and two CV/GATE outputs for controlling external analog or modular gear.
