Ania
The Ania is a moving-coil phono cartridge with a glass-filled PPS body, an elliptical diamond stylus and an aluminium cantilever. It is aimed at vinyl listeners who want a hand-wound MC design that fits Rega tonearms without separate overhang setting.

The Ania is a low-mass moving-coil cartridge built around a coil hand wound from 0.018 mm wire on an iron micro cross, driven by a high-power neodymium magnet. The generator is undamped, with no tie wire, and the cantilever sits on a rhomboid pivot. It carries an elliptical diamond stylus on an aluminium cantilever.
The body is moulded from PPS with 40% glass and fitted with stainless steel inserts. This replaces the machined aluminium body used on Rega's higher-priced MC models. It uses Rega's three-point fixing, so overhang is set automatically when it is fitted to a Rega tonearm. A rigid clear cover protects the fine internal wires during handling and fitting.
It is intended for an MC-capable phono stage. The recommended load is 100 Ω and 1000 pF, with the gain on high, which is the 'On' position on Rega phono stages. It is listed as an optional upgrade for the Planar 3 with its RB330 tonearm.
