The DJM-S9 is a two-channel scratch-style DJ mixer built for Serato DJ Pro, with rekordbox DVS support on the Core plan or above. It suits battle and turntablist DJs who want a configurable crossfader, performance pads and assignable FX.

The DJM-S9 is a two-channel battle mixer designed around Serato DJ Pro. It uses the Magvel Fader Pro magnetic crossfader, which has a Feeling Adjust dial for the operating load, adjustable curve and reverse settings, and shock-absorbing bumpers in three materials to set the rebound. The audio circuitry is derived from the DJM-2000NXS.
Multi-colour performance pads trigger Hot Cue, Roll, Slice and Loop, or can be mapped to other Serato DJ Pro functions. An EL display shows the active pad mode, and colours can be allocated to modes in Serato DJ Pro. Effects are handled by 6 Beat FX buttons and 6 assignable Serato DJ Pro FX buttons across 2 banks, plus a filter dial per channel and two Style Levers for short or locked effect triggering.
Two built-in USB soundcards and a top-panel input switcher allow back-to-back playing across four Serato DJ Pro decks. DVS control is supported for turntables or CDJs. The mixer connects to a PC/Mac over USB, is fully MIDI assignable, and has a MIC input with Echo FX and a peak limiter on the Master output.
