Supernova

The Supernova is a rack-mounted virtual analogue polyphonic synthesizer in a 3U format. It shares its MIDI implementation with the Supernova Pro and offers a performance mode with an extensive effects section.

The MIDI implementation sends and receives continuous controller data in real time. Knob movements made during a performance can be recorded into a sequencer together with the played notes, so the whole take can be reproduced on playback. This suits analogue-style sounds that are shaped live.

Bulk dumps can be sent and received for individual programs, program banks, performances, performance banks, arpeggiator patterns and global data. This allows sound libraries to be built and backed up. Drivers, user guides and other software and documentation are available as downloads from the maker.
