The HB80B is a compact COB LED light that produces adjustable white from warm 2700K to cool 6500K, with brightness from 0 to 100%. It is rated CRI 95+ and TLCI 97+. Three lighting modes are available: CCT for bi-color control, SOURCE with 10 light-source options, and FX with preprogrammed special effects. A Bowens-mount reflector is supplied to increase output and protect the LEDs.
Power comes from a built-in 14.4V/5000mAh (72Wh) battery. The cooling fan has three modes (Mute, Regular, Booster) that set the power draw to about 45W, 60W or 80W. Runtime is about 1h 34min in Mute mode and 1h 14min in Regular mode. Booster mode needs a PD 100W adapter. The USB-C port works in both directions, accepting up to PD 100W input and giving up to PD 60W output, and the light can be used while it charges.
Control is through the NEEWER app or 2.4G wireless. Lights set to the same channel (00-99) can be grouped with other 2.4G NEEWER lights. The Bowens mount takes softboxes, beauty dishes, snoots and similar modifiers, and there is an umbrella hole. A light stand adapter allows 360° angle adjustment. The light is sold as a Basic Kit or with a PD 100W adapter.
