This is a limited-edition variant of the minilogue, voiced for bass. Its 100 factory programs were created by a group of bass players and synth programmers, and any of them can be edited. There is room for 100 user programs alongside the presets, and programs from the standard minilogue load and play as well.
The analog signal path has two VCOs, a VCF, two EGs, a VCA and an LFO. Sound shaping includes wave shaping, cross modulation, oscillator sync, a ring modulator and a high-pass filter with delay. Four voices are available across eight voice modes, including Mono with a sub-oscillator an octave down, Unison, Delay and Side Chain.
A 16-step polyphonic sequencer records real-time with overdub or step by step, and stores motion sequences for up to four knobs or switches. An OLED display includes an oscilloscope view of the waveform. The Sound Librarian software lets you reorder programs, back up your library to a computer and load factory or bonus libraries. The panel is finished in black and red, with inverted-colour keys and a red wood rear panel.
