In-wall architectural loudspeaker from KEF's Ci-R Series with a THX-certified Uni-Q driver array, a 200mm (8in.) bass/mid driver and a 38mm (1.5in.) tweeter. It is designed for custom-installed home theatres, including large rooms.

The Ci200RS-THX is an in-wall speaker for custom-installed home theatres. It uses KEF's Uni-Q arrangement, in which the tweeter sits at the centre of the 200mm (8in.) low-frequency driver. The tweeter has a 38mm (1.5in.) voice coil and a vented aluminium dome with a tangerine waveguide. The woofer has a large magnet and a Z-flex surround. The speaker belongs to the Ci-R Series, which draws on acoustic work from KEF's Reference range and on in-wall and in-ceiling technology.
The quoted frequency response is 33Hz to 28kHz (±6dB) in open-backed use. Sensitivity is 90dB (2.83V/1m) and nominal impedance is 4 ohms. The crossover frequency is 2.2kHz, and the recommended amplifier power is 10 to 190W.
The speaker mounts into a 240 mm x 240 mm cut-out and needs 127mm of depth from the mounting surface. It weighs 3.6kg. Its external dimensions are 273 mm x 273 mm x 132.6 mm. Installation software is covered on KEF's Ci Software Download page.
